Red flag fire warning for Tahoe on Monday

Firefighters in the Lake Tahoe-Carson City-Reno area will be on high alert Monday afternoon as winds increase and humidity drops.

“The combination of gusty winds and low humidity will create critical fire weather conditions Monday afternoon and evening,” the National Weather Service in Reno said.
