• Sammy Hagar has been confirmed for the 2012 Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series at Harveys Outdoor Arena on Sept. 1. Tickets go on sale May 4 via Ticketmaster.

• La Familia restaurant has opened on Ski Run Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe in the old Scusa’s location.

• Pioneer Appliance and Repair has a new website.

    Nice to see that they voted Hal Cole off of the board, now if they can just vote him off of the City Council, Tahoe may recover.

    Admin……Reagrding Barton’s board, did they just decide to replace Cole or did he not seek reappointment? From the article one might imply they did not want him anymore. Do we know why? Thanks.

    Great to have La Familia back in town. Not sure if it Is the same family but if it is the food was really good.

    friends and I were counting mexican food restaurants last year from stateline to the Y area and came up with thirteen.

    Not sure what the count is today, but La Familia was a favorite in the ol’ days. Los Aquirres next?
