A group of 26 men from the Tahoe National Forest Fire Team recently came to my community, Colorado Springs, to help defend our city from a terrible fire storm where 346 homes and two lives were lost. I want to take a minute to say thank you for helping an area that most of you probably have no connection with. Hopefully some or all of you get the chance to come back to Colorado Springs for an “easy” vacation. I know of a number of establishment that would like to you guys a beer or two. Thank you for what you do and God Bless America.
