Personal fireworks illegal everywhere in Lake Tahoe Basin

image_pdfimage_print

Not only are fireworks illegal in the entire Lake Tahoe Basin, but numerous fires result from their use, not to mention the severe injuries they may cause to the users.

The South Shore area provides the locals and visitors a world-class fireworks display on the evening of July 4 at 9:45pm. This display is visible over the lake from the South Shore beaches on both the California and Nevada sides of the state line.

The SLTFD wishes you a safe and sane 4th of July celebration.

Look at Colorado Springs. That could happen again here because it is so dry. I hope residents help police enforce against fireworks so we will all be safe.

They forgot the mention the penalties. Not only will you be arrested, but your neighbors will take you deep into the forest and pound you into salt with each one swearing they didn’t see a thing if you so much as light a match! (yes this is a joke).

Wish this worked but there’s always a bone head with a firecracker or m-80 just waiting to light it ,run into the house ,no one see a thing.

Be Better if all the boats dressed up in lights and good music had a lake parade would be so much more amusing than smoke, fire, loud booms, people fighting on the beaches.
What ever turns you on seems to be the 4Th motto of getting as insane as possible .
Have a safe 4th, try not to run into some jerk who wants trouble with captial T.
