Fire crews are battling a fire just east of Truckee, between Truckee and Glenshire.

The fire was reported as an acre in size, with the potential to grow, due to gusting winds.

Multiple agencies are helping fight this fire and are making good progress, according to fire authorities. CalFire said the blaze is about 50 percent contained.

CalFire also said no homes are being evacuated at this time.
