• Camino’s Madrona Vineyards’ 2009 Cabernet Franc has been selected by the New York Times Wine Club to be included in its shipment of wines.

• Bob Ellis of Truckee has been elected VP of racing for the Far West Ski Association for 2012-13.

• Lakeland Village in South Lake Tahoe received a 2012 Certificate of Excellence award from TripAdvisor for having four out of five outstanding user reviews posted worldwide.
