An electric generator, 20 gallons of gas in 5 gal. jugs, lots of water and canned and dried food, all my old camping gear, new coleman stove, 4 small first aid kits, a flashlight in every room with spare batteries, lots of candles with boxes of matches. Portable radios that can operate with a crank on the side to recharge the batteries. Pet food and carriers.I also never let the truck get below 3/4’s of a tank. There is lots more stuff, but you get the general idea. I like to be prepared.
Take care, Old Long Skiis ,(and don’t forget some wine, beer and whiskey!)

I’m moved copies of all important documents off the hill to a relative’s house.

Made a meetup/contact plan so all family knows where we’d go and how to get a hold of us.

Created a box outside of batteries, candles, lantern, soap, towel, toothpaste, toothbrushes and a few other things.

I now collect hotel shampoos and soaps and washcloths when on sale. After Angora my club was contacted to prepare 500 baggies that contained 1 soap, 1 shampoo, 1 washcloth, toothpaste and toothbrush. I haven’t put it all in baggies yet but I’ve started getting the items together.

Given I live in Gardner Mountain and the forest has been cleared… Nothing beyond rake my yard.

I will be happy to deliver my pine needles to the TRPA if they have any questions.
