Paddleboarder to attempt trip around Tahoe in 24 hours
Doug Stoup plans to circumnavigate Lake Tahoe on a standup paddleboard July 31 in less than 24 hours.
He will start at Waterman’s Landing in Carnelian Bay and finish there.
Stoup is paddling to raise money and awareness for High Fives Foundation and the Ice Axe Foundation. The Ice Axe Foundation is an educational 501(3)C set up to educate youth about the planet through live Internet feeds.
There will be a fund raising reception Aug. 1 from 3-7pm at Waterman’s Landing with live music.
