5 candidates qualify for S. Tahoe council race
Three people are challenging the two incumbents on the South Lake Tahoe City Council.
Clinton Schue and Austin Sass, who have run before, are in the race, as is JoAnn Conner.
Incumbents are Hal Cole and Bruce Grego.
Stacey Wheeler had pulled papers to run, but came up short in the number of required signatures to qualify for the Nov. 6 ballot.
“Though it’s frustrating to come so close and just miss the mark, it’s been a great experience and I think we have a good field of candidates to choose from,” Wheeler told Lake Tahoe News.

There are only 3 Qualified people running for Council. Cole and Greco have already proven that they are not QUALIFIED, look at their record. Even a blind man can see the harm they have done to this City. Throw the bums out, or face 4 more years of no growth and depressed employees, and un-happy employee is a poor employee, a happy employee is a good worker who will do all he can plus give the extra mile.
Lets get rid of the incumbents and start fresh. Tom Davis, Your next!!!
Anybody TRULY qualified for this job would be intelligent enough to know that the headaches that accompany the position aren’t worth it! It’s a no win job.
QUALIFICATION QUESTION #1:
If elected to the city council, what will you do about THE HOLE?
NBL Have no fear good old boys Spanky Davis and Hal Cole will find a way to fill it!
