“The Hunger Games” will be shown for free at the South Lake Tahoe branch library on Sept. 22 at 1pm.

In conjunction with California Reads, Friends of the Library is presenting this movie for people to consider the increasing popularity of depictions of dystopian futures in adult and youth fiction.

The library is at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.
