I love watching the athletes do their best and revel in the joys of victory. I’m like a proud parent when I see these kids….had tears in my eyes last night with the girl’s gymnastics and Phelp’s record breaking medal.

While I’m proud of my country, it is one time when I feel like a citizen of the world.

I really enjoy the intense competition of the dancing horses. It warms my heart to know that in America you can eschew all that nasty training and hard work and attempt to purchase an Olympic medal. That’s the Rmoney American Way!

I love the competition and the show of good sportsmanship from most of the athletes. It is so great to see so many nations actually getting along for the sake of the sports.
And to TeaTotal-let’s not politicize the games. Leave to politics to another thread.
