Carson City woman dies in rollover accident

A Carson City woman died Saturday when she was ejected from her vehicle.

Lynette Lucille Cieri, 63, was traveling west on Mottsville Lane in Douglas County at 5:20pm Oct. 6 when for an unknown reason her Jeep Grand Cherokee entered the north dirt shoulder of Mottsville Lane before re-entering the westbound lane. The vehicle crossed over the double yellow lines before overturning, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Cieri was not wearing her seat belt. Officers said speed appears to be a factor, but it is unknown if alcohol is a factor at this time.
