Describe your best experience with wine — but keep it G rated — to be in the running to win two tickets to the annual Soroptimist International South Lake Tahoe wine tasting event on Nov. 2, 6-9:30pm at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe.
This is open to all Lake Tahoe News’ NEWS Team members. To be part of the team, just fill out the paid subscriber form.
Winners will be announced the week of the event.
If you don’t win, tickets are $65 each and may be purchased from any SISLT member or online.
My best experiences, multiple, with wine basically boil down to the fact that I was able to learn much of what I know about it by having the pleasure of working for and with Tim Halloran of Nephele’s and Evan Williams of Evan’s, two of the more knowledgeable œnophiles in the Lake Tahoe area!
Is this contest legal? I thought all contests had to be free to enter making sure that people aren’t being charged for the ability to enter…
Wine has been a part of so many wonderful experiences in my life. One of the best was my first evening at Apres Wine Company with a great group of friends. JP, one of the owners, gave us a wonderfully educational and delicious wine tasting filled with lots of laughter, joy, and great knowledge of wines from around the world.
