It’s the peak time to see the Kokanee salmon spawning at Taylor Creek on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe.

The fish will continue migrating upstream from Lake Tahoe to spawn and then eventually die.

Early morning is a good time to see bears feasting.

Near the bridge on Highway 89 is the place to see where beavers have been gnawing on aspens and other trees.
