• South Lake Tahoe planning commissioners granted historic sign status to Tahoe Valley Pharmacy and Burger Lounge. The latter closed on Sept. 30 – but it’s the mug that has significance, not the name.

• On Oct. 10 at 6pm there will be a South Lake Tahoe neighborhood meeting for people living in the Tahoe Keys, Tahoe Island, Tahoe Valley and Gardner Mountain areas. The meeting is in the Tahoe Keys Association Conference Room, 356 Ala Wai Blvd.
