The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office has assumed operation of the Regional Dispatch Center in Nevada City.

Sheriff’s office dispatchers will answer all 911 calls and handle all radio traffic for the sheriff’s office and the Nevada City, Truckee and Grass Valley police departments.

Each agency’s regular business telephone line will be answered by the respective department during regular business hours, 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

After hours and on holidays, calls to the business lines will be forwarded to the Regional Dispatch Center and answered by Nevada County dispatchers.
