The Giants won the World Series. Twice. If the World ends on the 21st, I’m satisfied.

Planet Nibiru or planet X? These are made up stories on the internet about a planet heading our way through space that will slam into the earth or maybe make a close pass by, causing a shift in the poles resulting in global flooding, earthquakes and and a bunch of other horrible stuff. The date keeps changing on this fabricated catrastrophe of this supposed earth changing event.
It’s all a bunch of nonsense from my point of view! The Mayan calender does end on 12-21-12. I say do what I do every year, buy a new calender!
The world is not coming to an end, at least not yet. It’s all a bunch of hooey if you ask me.
Does’nt hurt to be prepared though. Stock up on lots of food and the basic necessitys.
Who knows, maybe we will have a big winter and you’ll be glad for the stash of the things you purchased that you need to get by.
The “end” is not near. Old Long Skiis

We will all know on the 22nd.

IF the world ends on December 21, how will that effect my credit score? And what if I find out that I’m deathly allergic to world ending cataclysms?

Also, if it does happen, I hope it happens very quickly. Nothing worse than a long drawn out end of the world scenario!

If the world is coming to an end, why did the garbage fees go up…..

Transformation…..manifesting itself on many levels and in myriad forms upon our lives seems inevitable given the many socio-geo-econo-political, climatological, seismological, geomagnetic, solar and other forces all seeming to converge on or near this date.

Strong scientific evidence exists to support past, mass extinctions. Something not entirely unexpected to happen to rocks spinning around in a massive sometimes chaotic universe. Nature cleans house too.
Is this an opportunity for an enlightened rebirth or just another branch of life that ran it’s clock out?

    Stay tuned! Film at 11.

Ever wonder why it’s represented by a circle?

  9. Dee says - Posted: December 12, 2012

Rather than irresponsibly reporting this, perhaps you should do some research into the meaning of this event. I happen to be in the Yucatan right now. They correctly think Americans are stupid and ignorant. This type of reporting proves their point.

  10. Biggerpicture says - Posted: December 12, 2012

Dee, seems you’re taking this fluff piece a wee bit too serious. And just to clarify, no reporting involved here, just a simple silly question for fun.

  16. Steven says - Posted: December 12, 2012

Didn’t NASA put out a statement that the world will not end on the 21st? They couldn’t be wrong, could they?

  17. Art says - Posted: December 13, 2012

I guess ignorance is bliss. A calender is a calender. Does the world end every December 31st? Remember these were people who thought the world was flat. The accumulated knowledge of the world was not what it is today. In other words these people were ignorant. But then again there are many people who believe in a book that was written over 2000 years ago by those same superstitious and ignorant people about a man who died 70 years before.

  18. Aaron says - Posted: December 13, 2012

The Mayans vanished. Perhaps their calander wasn’t completed due to the fact that this civilization vanished suddenly?

Regardles of what the Mayans said and did, the Yucatan is an area dependent on tourism. I’m willing to bet that they don’t turn away our “stupid and ignorant” tourism dollars.

Enjoy life please and have fun with it. What else have you got to do until the 21st?
