The World Explorers’ Club will meet once a month to learn about the world, do activities and write letters to their pen pals.

The first meeting will be Jan. 15 at 3:30pm at the South Lake Tahoe branch library. Future meetings will be on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Sign up at the library to join the World Explorers.

Explorers will:

* Learn about young people from around the world.

* Help fight poverty.

* Create art projects to share with a pen pal.

The library is at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.
