This BATS program is 100% funded by grants; and neither the Director, Penny Fairfield, nor any of the the wonderful Volunteers, receives any money for all their work. The program is NOT funded by the schools. My understanding is that a similar ‘no overhead’ program on teaching the kids how to play the Ukulele is coming soon, probably even with free instruments.
