THIS IS AN ARCHIVE OF LAKE TAHOE NEWS, WHICH WAS OPERATIONAL FROM 2009-2018. IT IS FREELY AVAILABLE FOR RESEARCH. THE WEBSITE IS NO LONGER UPDATED WITH NEW ARTICLES.
If you want to see and hear all the action , at home of course. Want to yell cheer and pound the bar with “lets go Giants ” , or lets go NINERS with Dennis and many others, go to Steamers for sure.
X LOCAL,
Yes, home is best for watching any sports event. Plan ahead and have your food and drinks all ready.Been a long time tradition around here. Pot of chili in the crockpot, some fresh made corn bread and lots of other munchies on the table.
To heck with the noisy bar scene and trying to find a seat amongst people you don’t know.
I’ll be at home for the Super Bowl and I’ll invite a few friends over for the game. The woodstove will be a glowin’ and the smiles will be a showin’. Go Niners.

We definitely prefer watching the Super Bowl in the comfort of home with good eats and friends. But for regular season games our favorites are the Blue Agave and Jakes in Tahoe City, and Sunnyside Restaurant on the West Shore, but their new bar remodel makes it difficult to watch the screens behind the bar because there is a hanging shelf that blocks the full view. The Sunnyside Bar looks more City by the Bay-ish then rustic Tahoe now.
Casino Sports Books,Mo’s is the best this side the state line .Huge screen for super-bowl,mostly Tahoe locals, affordable eats, good pricing on the booze.
BLUE HAS THE BEST SPORTS BOOK,LAKESIDE SHAVES TOO MANY POINTS ON FAVORITES.

I agree with X Local. At home. No screaming idiots, no shattered eardrums, no fights. And I can cheer for whomever I want.
