Sierra Club to discuss wild-scenic rivers

The Sierra Club meeting on Feb. 20 will focus on wild and scenic rivers.

Steve Evans, conservation director of the Friends of the River, will speak. He will share his photographs of wild places and rivers and share insights on potential designation of wild and scenic status for the high reaches of the Upper Truckee River and other wild places in the Tahoe Basin.

The talk starts at 7pm at Unity at the Lake Center, Rufus Allen Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe.

    Steve Evans is a very knowledgable and experienced environmental activist who will be very interesting to listen to. He has been doing this for ever! Cant wait to hear him talk and say Hi.
