With a band playing and a rocking crowd on the hill, Emily Cook (Belmont, Mass.) claimed her sixth U.S. aerials title at the Sprint U.S. Freestyle Championships Saturday night at Heavenly Mountain Resort.

Dylan Ferguson (Amesbury, Mass.) took the title for the men, scoring a U.S. Champs three-peat.

Kiley McKinnon (Madison, Conn.) and Alex Bowen (Springville, N.Y.) took second, while Madie Gorelik (Park City) and Jonathon Lillis (Rochester, N.Y.) walked away in third place.

The event was judged in the traditional aerial two-jump format which combined the athletes’ two jump scores, so each jump counted.

Despite the warm March weather, the hill was in good shape because of mannmade snow and the cold temperatures Saturday night.
