When his grant was first posted, I contacted the Fire Dept and was told it was not available to homes within SLT City limits. Has this changed? Also, please post the website address & phone number the the Fire Station.

The phone number for LVFPD is 530-577-2447 (hang on past the options and leave a message with your name, tel# and street address). Also you can email them & leave the info at: lvfpd@replaceshake.com This grant will pay about 70% of the replacement cost (by their designated roof contractors).

Last year, they did not include SLT – and now we hear about it last-minute. They have to get better at “communicating” this type of information to the public! Put the flyer i the water bill, etc.!!!!!
