Letter: TAP thanks community for its support
To the community,
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in Tahoe Arts Project’s Dancing with your Stars.
The Utah Ballroom Dance Company spent a week in the schools teaching students about different styles of ballroom dance. In the evening they rehearsed with our local “stars” who performed at MontBleu for more than 500 people.

A huge thank you to our dancers, Carol Chaplin, Joel Dameral, Wendy David, Curtis Fong, Deb Howard and Bueno Ketelsen. You all did a wonderful job and you looked fabulous on the big stage.
Our judges, Paul Middlebrook, Pat Ronan and Marcia Sarosik, added to the fun with their quick wit and humor. Thank you to Dreu Murin for hosting the event.
This was a true community event and I thank the more than 500 adults and children for attending. Thank you so much to MontBleu for providing us with the theater.

Thank you for providing such a fun event for the community. What a fun night & kudos to all the dancers, took courage to get up on that stage !!!
It was great fun and it was inspiring to see so many of our community friends who came out to support this event. If you do it again, you might want to charge a little more. Mont Bleu was awesome to donate the venue for the evening. The contenders were brave to take part in a new experience and “show off” for the rest of us.
