John Muir Trail subject of library talk

To kick off the new season of presentations, on April 16 at 6pm, the South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library will present Suzanne Roberts.

Roberts is the author of the memoir “Almost Somewhere: Twenty-Eight Days on the John Muir Trail”, winner of the 2012 National Outdoor Book Award.

Learn about the John Muir Trail, told with humor, friendship and photos.

The event at the library (1000 Rufus Allen Blvd., South Lake Tahoe) is free.

There will be a reading, followed by a book signing with books available for purchase.

    Anyone thinking of venturing onto the John Muir Trail should hear Suzanne’s tales. What a hoot. Great book and great storyteller.
