Rangers at Washoe Lake State Park will teach participants the basics of geocaching and develop their GPS orienteering skills on June 8.

The park will have a limited number of GPS units to loan for the program. If you have one, bring it.

The lesson will be from 9:30am-noon. Meet in the equestrian area pavilion. Washoe Lake State Park is five miles north of Carson City.

There is no charge for the program, but there is a $7 per vehicle entry fee. Nevada residents receive a $2 discount.
