Series of dinners benefits Tahoe-Truckee nonprofits

Sugar Bowl’s Lake Mary Cabin Dinner Series returns to Donner Summit this summer, featuring chef Alan Davis’ French-inspired California cuisine.

Dining will be offered most Saturday and Sunday evenings from July 21 through Sept. 15, with seating offered from 5:30-9pm.

Each evening showcases a different local nonprofit organization from the Truckee-

Tahoe community, with a portion of the evening’s proceeds benefiting that cause.

Dinner dates and nonprofit partners are as follows:

July 21: Young Life Truckee

July 28: Gateway Mountain Center

Aug. 3: Donner Summit Area Association

Aug. 4: Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe

Aug. 10: Truckee Donner Land Trust

Aug. 11: Excellence in Education

Aug. 17: Truckee Trails Foundation

Aug. 18: Donner Summit Historical Society

Aug. 25: Sugar Bowl Academy

Sept. 1: KidZone Museum

Sept. 15: Sierra Avalanche Center.
