Two South Lake Tahoe residents were arrested Monday on charges related to providing marijuana to middle and high school students.

William Anderson, 30, and fiancée Makayla Hoehn, 25, are accused of furnishing marijuana to South Tahoe High School and South Tahoe Middle school students.

The school resource officer on June 10 received information that the two were selling marijuana to local schoolchildren. An investigation led to Anderson being a suspect.

Officers secured a search warrant at his Marjorie Street residence, where they said they found marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Police said Anderson admitted to selling marijuana to students and that Hoehn said she knew what was going on.

Their two small children are now in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Anderson was arrested on charges of selling marijuana to minors, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug house and child endangerment. Hoehn was arrested on charges of maintaining a drug house and child endangerment.
