El Dorado deputies discover stolen goods
Eight days after El Dorado County sheriff’s deputies found stolen property in a residence they are telling the public about it.
It took deputies, South Lake Tahoe cops, CHP, DA investigators and agents from the drug task force to execute the search warrant on the South Shore residence on June 6.
Even though deputies want people to come forward who may have been the victim, they are not giving any clues to what was recovered.
It is not known what led to the warrant being issued, why it took all those agencies or if arrests are pending.
The street where the goods were found also not provided.
Deputies believe the property had been stolen from storage facilities and mailboxes and people may not be aware of the theft.
Detective Paul Kuhn, (530) 573.3022, is the one to contact for more info.

So if you EVER had anything stolen, regardless of where or when, start calling. Maybe if enough people clog up their lines they’ll start communicating a little better.
Way to go, guys and gals. Apparently budget cuts have been mostly applied to the public information side. Maybe someone should point out where your, admittedly decreasing, budgets come from. Y’all may be doing a bang up job, despite lack of public financial support, but if you drop a dime on the local media from time to time, you might be able to get some citizens involved as well.
Huh? Does this make any sense.
“Even though deputies want people to come forward who may have been the victim, they are not giving any clues to what was recovered.”
“Deputies believe the property had been stolen from storage facilities and mailboxes and people may not be aware of the theft.”
So how am I to know if I am a victim?
Perhaps the circumstance is that if the recovered items were identified that anyone could come forward claiming that the item(s) were theirs which would compromise the South Lake Tahoe Police, CHP, drug task force, and DA investigators case against whoever the perpetrator(s) may be.
KAE There may have been an inadvertent miss step requiring a through review for court approval of the warrant.
