Suspect arrested in bike theft
Brandon Lee Rose, 41, was arrested this week on charges of second degree burglary and possession of stolen property in connection with a high-end bike that was stolen from an El Dorado Hills shop.
Rose allegedly broke into the store May 20 and left with $7,000 worth of cycling equipment.
El Dorado County sheriff’s Detective Troy Morton was able to identify the suspect and obtain a search warrant for a locations in Sacramento and West Sacramento.
While serving the search warrant, Morton said he recovered the bicycle and other stolen property from a crime committed in another jurisdiction.
The suspect was subsequently arrested.
