Tahoe Tails — Adoptable Pets in South Lake Tahoe

Kitties at the Meyers shelter.

Kitties at the Meyers shelter.

It’s kitten time at Tahoe. The shelter is overflowing with about 25 crazy, rambunctious, energetic kittens that were transferred to the Meyers shelter from other shelters in the Central Valley.

Every possible color, males and females, long and short hair are ready for adoption. Several have been adopted already, so come out to the shelter soon to pick your favorite. (And if you’d prefer an adult cat, we have several nice adults, too!)

All of the kittens are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. They are at the El Dorado County Animal Services shelter in Meyers, along with many other dogs and cats who are waiting for their new homes.
