Placer County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free class to help business owners protect their businesses and themselves.

The class will be Aug. 19 from 5:30-8:30pm at the Placer County Sheriff’s Office in Auburn. Topics to be discussed include: identity theft and counterfeiting; dealing with transients; high-tech crimes; business security; crime reporting and arrests; internal theft; and trespassing and parking concerns.
