Ex-EDSO sergeant arrested on kiddie porn charges
A former El Dorado County sheriff’s sergeant has been accused of possessing child pornography.
William Wilson, 51, turned himself in to the county jail in Placerville on July 9. He was booked and released.

The investigation started in January.
“During the course of the investigation the employee retired, but the investigation continued. Eventually information was developed indicating the employee had committed criminal acts,” a press release stated.
Wilson worked for the department for 25 years.
He is scheduled to be arraigned July 16.

He looks like a kiddie in adult clothes. I wonder how he was able to fool his co-workers for 25 years? Is there more going on at the Sheriff’s Dept. the public needs to investigate?
Bob I have (NO IDEA) but he could just as easily be guilty of nothing other than pissing someone off in Placer county.

Placer County? He never worked there. This is a local matter that was poorly handled at best if not a curious, suspicious, delay that a citizen would not receive as they knew since January and gave him all of these months to retire on a lifetime pension via the taxpayers. He was given some really special treatment it looks like from the low charge to a cite and release at the jail and this should be a real issue in the next election for Sheriff because what was sold to the voters last time wasn’t this kind of lack of leadership.
Wow if he wasnt how he was he would be in jail still. And the fact that he still has a pension when he was doing this on taxpayers time and equipment.
