Sharon Resnikoff sent these photos to Lake Tahoe News of the Bison Fire that is burning in the Pine Nut area of Douglas County. Some were taken from Highway 395 and others along Kingsbury Grade.

The fire started July 4 after lightning struck the area.

Non-residential buildings have been consumed in the inferno. More than 9,000 acres are charred.
