Al Maginnes and Peter Makuck are part of Sierra Nevada College’s Writers in the Woods series.

They will give a reading at the Incline Village school (room 139/141) on Oct.4 at 7pm and a workshop Oct. 5 at 9am.

Maginnes’ poems have appeared in “Poetry, The Georgia Review”, and “Shenandoah”. Makuck is a poet, short story writer, critic and professor at East Carolina University.

Readings are free and open to the public. The three-hour workshop can be taken for credit and is also free to students. There is a $50 registration fee for community members.
