Gamblers drop lots of cash at Stateline casinos

Stateline casinos hauled in a ton of cash in September, especially compared to the previous year.

Revenues were $22 million, which was up 23.2 percent compared to 2012.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board on Thursday said revenues statewide were up 7.4 percent. Casinos brought in $958.8 million. Las Vegas did better than the previous September, while Reno’s numbers were down.

In August, the state was up and Stateline was down.
