• Lake Tahoe Community College Math Club has volunteer tutors to help K-12 students Monday-Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30pm. No appointments necessary. Tutors are at the TLC at LTCC, which is upstairs in the main building.

• Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce is hosting an economic forum Oct. 22 from 6-8pm at Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel in South Lake Tahoe. Cocktail hour starts at 5pm.
