TRPA to discuss draft EIR-EIS for power upgrade

The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency Governing Board will discuss the electrical transmission line upgrades from Kings Beach to Tahoe City on Oct. 23.

CalPeco, the parent company of Liberty Utilities, wants to improve the system in that part of the basin.

On the agenda are the draft environmental impact report and draft environmental impact statement.

The meeting begins at 9:30am at the North Tahoe Events Center in Kings Beach.
