• Reno-Tahoe International Airport on Nov. 8 is adding nonstop service to Portland on Alaska Airlines.

• Lake Tahoe Community College Nordic Ski Center offers season and day use passes for the 2013-14 season. Five to 7 kilometers of trails will be maintained and groomed two to three times per week for classic and skate skiing on the college campus.
