The mother of Olympic snowboarder Elena Hight pleaded guilty Thursday to marijuana trafficking.
Myra Hight, 52, of South Lake Tahoe was accused of being a member of a nationwide marijuana-distribution ring when she was picked up last year and found with more than $77,000 in cash in her vehicle.
She pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute marijuana before Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny. She faces between 12 and 24 months in prison.
