Veterans Day celebration in Placerville

The Friends of the El Dorado County Veterans Monument will host the 8th annual Veterans Day ceremony on Nov. 11 at 11am.

The event is at the El Dorado County Veterans Monument, 360 Fair Lane, Placerville.

Retired Navy Capt. John Poimiroo will be the guest speaker.

This monument is a first class monument and rivals national Veterans Monuments. If you haven’t seen it, this would be a good opportunity. They usually have around 2000 attending with an impressive fly by.
