National Winter Trails Day hikes in SLT, Truckee

Tahoe Rim Trail Association will celebrate National Winter Trails Day in Truckee and South Lake Tahoe.

TRTA is partnering with REI on Jan. 11 from 11am-3pm for a family friendly event at Tahoe Donner XC Ski Center, 15275 Alder Creek Road, Truckee.

There will be hike on the South Shore with Explore Tahoe through Van Sickle Bi-State Park.
