Poll: Californians have no desire to split state
By David Siders, Sacramento Bee
Officials in Siskiyou and Modoc counties may want to secede from California, but the rest of the state has no desire to see them go.
Just one-quarter of California voters support allowing the state’s northernmost counties to break away from California, according to a new Field Poll.
Fifty-nine percent of registered voters statewide oppose such an effort, according to the poll. Opposition to the effort is bipartisan, with majorities of Democrats, Republicans and independent voters all opposed.
LOL! Modoc and Siskiyou should be thankful they are still in California. They rank 12th and 18th in GDP put into the state per capita out of 58 Counties. They lag 30 and 25% behind the State Average in per capita GDP produced. In essence, they appear to the the “takers” that they grip about so much.
That is because the state steals their resources instead of paying market value. And your figures are incorrect if not fabricated. Masters never want to lets there slaves go. Ask Moses.
The only thing “fabricated” is your whine SAM. Moses was a fictional character.
