Pet and family photos will be taken with Santa Paws on Dec. 7 from 11am-4pm.

The Lake Tahoe Humane Society and SPCA sponsors the event to help animals in Tahoe.

The event is at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center, 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.

Cost is $20. Credit cards not accepted. Multiple poses on a CD will be provided.

Donations of dry dog and cat food for the community Pet Food Bank are welcome.
