Burglary suspect arrested in Kings Beach
A Merced man is behind bars accused of multiple burglaries in the North Lake Tahoe area.
Jason Woodral, 35, was booked into the Placer County Jail on Jan. 8 on eight counts of burglary. His bail was set at $200,000.
Early Wednesday, sheriff’s deputies responded to the Kings Beach Laundromat for a reported burglary in progress. The subject was caught in a residential area.
Investigators believe Woodral is responsible for burglaries at local businesses in Kings Beach, including the Kings Beach Laundromat, Kings Beach Car Wash, Tahoe Cutting Company and Tahoe Pilates Studio.
Woodral had an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a burglary committed in Merced in 2009.
