Due to the forecasted unsettled weather, Truckee Department of Public Works has made sand bags, sand and shovels available for public use.

A truck with sand has been stationed at Truckee Fire Station 92, located at 11473 Donner Pass Road (near the high school).

Sand bags and shovels are also available at the Public Works Public Service Center located at 10969 Stevens Lane.
