Egyptian scholar to give talk in Incline
Zahi Hawass, a world-renowned archaeologist and the former minister of Antiquities in Egypt and the director of ongoing excavations at Giza, Saqqara, and the Valley of the Kings, will give a talk March 31 at Sierra Nevada College.
He is a distinguished scholar of residence at the Incline Village institution.
His presentation will be from 6-7:30pm on campus in room 139/141. Hawass will talk about Egypt past and present.
He’s a walking encyclopedia. Lucky those who can attend.
Bummed to only have 3 days notice of this — would have been fun to attend.
