Serving with big smiles and kind words, the Lake Tahoe Community College leadership team’s sponsor crew served over 95 community members at Bread & Broth’s March 10 dinner. B&B would like to thank the LTCC leadership team for once again supporting our goal of feeding the less fortunate of our community by Adopting A Day of Nourishment.

“LTCC truly appreciates the opportunity to serve our community by participating in Bread & Broth,” said Kurt Green, dean of instruction. “The heartfelt ‘thank yous’, the smiles and the staff camaraderie made this an uplifting experience for all.”

Joining Green in assisting at the dinner were fellow LTCC leadership team members Virginia Boyar, dean; Dave Burba, IT director; and Michelle Sower, director.

The B&B volunteers truly enjoyed working alongside the LTCC sponsor crew members who were eager to help in any way with the meal’s setup, serving and cleanup. Their desire to support the community is evident in the quality education they strive to provide and their efforts outside the classroom to improve the lives of our community members.
