Clean Tahoe spending day on bike paths
As part of the Tahoe Bike Challenge, Clean Tahoe is is having a bike path cleanup June 7 from 10am-noon.
Volunteers may choose from three starting points for the cleanup, one of which is right behind the Clean Tahoe office!. Pick up litter and pull invasive weeds from around the bike path and through the nearby neighborhood.
After the cleanup, all volunteers are invited to a free lunch and celebration at the League to Save Lake Tahoe office (2608 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe).
Everyone who rides a bike to the event will receive a free raffle ticket.
To sign up, fill out this form.
Clean Tahoe is at 2074 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
So, does Clean Tahoe then get reimbursed for this trail maintenance via Measure S?
As clarification: Clean Tahoe is participating in the bike path cleanup event but we’re just one of several sponsors and locations. The event is also sponsored by: the League to Save Lake Tahoe, Sierra Nevada Alliance, TRPA, California Tahoe Conservancy, Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition, South Tahoe Refuse, and Heavenly Resort. It’s a true collaborative effort! And you can choose to help clean up at one of three locations – learn more at: http://clean-tahoe.org/bike-path-cleanup/
