Firefighters on Thursday quickly put out a fire at a cabin on the west end of Lower Echo Lake.

No one was injured and the cause is still under investigation. The extent of the damage has not be released.

Lake Valley, U.S. Forest Service and CalFire crews responded to the May 29 afternoon blaze.

The boat chalet at Echo Lake helped transport equipment.
